You should define your goal Blogs?
Have you had time to finally build a blog, and is now online. You get all excited about something.
Months go by. Maybe you get some visitors from time to time. Maybe landing on search engines. Above all, though, it sits there. It's the blog that you paid for pulling its weight?
A blog is a tool and can be of great help to promote you or your business. You can cut a lot of time begins to provide information to readers or customers. They can answer questions and perform tasks for you.
Most blogs do not have a clear goal of what is suppose to do.
Some blogs are trying to do way too much at once, or worse, have no definable purpose. Many provide no clear purpose. A blog can do more than look good and flashy and have your contact information.
Blogs can be informational, storing content and articles based on a topic. Blogs can perform e-commerce solutions that help you with the sales process. It can also generate leads, asking customers to fill out forms with information and interests. It can also be a hybrid blog, with mixed purposes, like offering a free ebook or free access to information in exchange for contact information (lead generation).
Define the purpose of your blog gives a clear direction for your readers and customers. Where your readers and customers when they arrive to find your blog? Where do you want it to end? Using a clear path and clear objectives, you can take through your blog. Maybe you prefer just to know your readers or customers with a little 'more, and be able to forward marketing materials, then a type of lead generation blog might be more suitable.
Assign a secondary objective. Maybe after visitors sign up for free access, or an ebook, I invite you to ask more by contacting you. Use a clear call to action. "Mail for more information." "Click here to subscribe." Tell visitors where to go.
Thus the creation of a clear goal for your blog is an important factor you should consider if you want your blog to just sit there and look pretty flashy and 6 months down the road .......
