Best Metal Detector used

I often wondered who used metal detectors are the best. With all the electronic equipment used, the quality depends on the quality standards of the manufacturer and the treatment while the material was used. In general, the best metal detectors used are those produced by leading manufacturers of quality metal detectors, past and present.

I usually do not go wrong buying the following brands:

A.H. Electronics
Aquavision
Bounty Hunter
CandG Technology
Cobra
Compass
DetectorPro
D-Tex
Fisherman
Gardiner
Garrett
Gold Mountain
Land Hawk
JW Fisher
Minelab
Nautilus
Predator
RadioShack
Turtle RaeLar
Sears (Made by White)
Teknetics
Treasure
Treasure Hunter
Treasure Ray
Troy
Viper
White Electronics
Wilson-Neuman

If there is a metal detector that is used of a brand not listed above, more than likely, not a value of purchase.

An indicator of the quality of a detector is used in its construction. If it looks cheap or like a toy, it probably is. Now, if you are looking for a metal detector guys for your child then one of those that may be fine for you.

Before you buy metal detectors used in a garage sale, yard sale, flea market or similar, and at least try it at least make sure it powers up. Many times the seller will have batteries in them or have batteries on hand. If not, ask what kind of batteries using the detector, go buy a little 'and return to install them for sale. Always try to get a return guarantee at least a couple of days, so you can return the detector to a refund if it does not work properly. This is especially true for the purchase of online auction sites and ads.

Most metal detectors that go on or not work at all is that the battery cables were corroded and broken terminals. People tend to store their metal detectors with the batteries installed. Over time the cells leak acid and corrode the terminals and wires. If you're handy with a soldering iron, you can often get bargains that can be solved to run like new .......
